Danube Day 2019 in Montenegro

Danube Day 2019 in Montenegro was held on Đurđevića Tara; a spot near the river Tara. In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, plus the tourist organisation Žabljak, the 29th of July was marked for the International Day for the Protection of the Danube River Basin in the Tara River Canyon. Events aimed to educate the youngest through games, and thus inform the public about the importance of protecting and conserving rivers of habitats and the need for rational use water resources.

In addition to representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro and the Zabljak Tourist Organization, the importance of this event was recognized by the National Parks of Montenegro, as well as by tourist industry representatives.
